How much do I pay

Our commission structure is very different to what the market has to offer right now.

What’s the length of a contract with Takeaway.com?

There is no contract, so you are free to leave the site whenever you want! But we’re postive that once you experience the Takeaway.com effect on your orders, you won’t want to leave.

Do I have to pay to unsubscribe / remove myself from the site?

No – there is no “sign-off” fee.

How do I sign up?

It’s very simple: we just need information about the restaurant, the manager, delivery areas and hours, as well as your menu details. sign up

What percentage commission do I pay?

You only pay commission on orders passed to you via the Takeaway.com website. Please contact our sales team for more information.

How many extra orders will I receive from Takeaway.com?

That depends on several factors (including your menu, your community, your delivery zone, etc.). Using Takeway.com you can increase your visibility and access a wider client base. 

How will I know how many orders I received via Takeaway.com?

You will see all these details when you log into your personalised restaurant administration page.

What are the available payment methods when using Takeaway.com?

Online Payments

  • Pay online with Credit Card (American Express, MasterCard, Visa). When customers complete their order, they select one of the offered cards and are then redirected to a secure payment page.
  • Payment via PayPal. Takeaway.com only accepts payments from verified PayPal accounts, to ensure security and authenticity.
  • Vouchers. Sometimes we will give away vouchers to customers to encourage orders. Takeaway.com vouchers are financed by ourselves from our marketing budget – you do not pay anything towards these.
  • Bitoins. Customers can pay online with Bitcoins.

Payment on Delivery

  • Customers can offer to pay in cash on delivery by clicking the option when finalising their order.
  • If your restaurant driver has a portable card reader, customers can opt to pay using their card at their doorstep. 

How do I receive my payments and pay the commission to Takeaway.com?

We do everything for you. Once a week, we deposit your profits into your bank account. We automatically deduct our commission from this amount so you don’t have to do anything further. 

Do I need to pay transaction costs?

No, we pay this for you. 

I’m currently working with another food ordering site. If I collaborate with Takeaway.com, this other site will increase my rates. Help!

If a competitor increases your rates as a result of our partnership with you, we will refund you the difference.

My restaurant has no internet connection, can I still join Takeaway.com?

Of course, we can relay orders to you using the telephone or fax.

How can the customer be sure that we will deliver to their area?

We require customers to input their postcode at the start of the order process, so they only see local restaurants which will deliver to their home. This is why we need accurate postcode delivery areas from you!

What happens in the rare case that we cannot deliver an order?

Give us a call and we will arrange for the customer (and yourself) not to be billed for it. You will be asked to call the customer to inform them of the cancellation.

What happens if my menu changes?

Our customer service team is available 7 days a week. Simply email or fax us your new menu and we will amend this for you as soon as we can.

How are customers notified of new restaurants being added to the site?
